Spain to submit research agency plans this month
The Spanish government will submit a first draft of a proposal for a State Research Agency to Parliament this month. Science minister Cristina Garmendia said that the legislative proposal would be presented to Parliament before it is dissolved on 27 September. On 12 September, Garmendia met with Carlos Andradas, president of the Confederation of Spanish Scientific Societies to discuss the set-up of the agency.
