European research funders have discussed open access to scientific publications and research integrity, at a meeting of the regional working group of the Global Research Council in Brussels yesterday (22 October).
The conclusions of the meeting will feed into the first Global Research Council summit, scheduled for 27 to 29 May 2013 in Berlin. At this summit the council aims to agree an action plan to implement open access, and a statement of principles on research integrity.
