The European University Association is to assess the impact of institutional rankings on universities in 2013, in one of four higher education projects announced on 19 October.
The Rankings in Institutional Strategies and Processes (Risp) project will involve a European-wide survey to determine the effect of rankings on universities’ development strategies, scheduled for March 2013. It will be undertaken by the EUA in collaboration with the Dublin Institute of Technology, the French Rectors’ Conference and the Academic Information Centre in Latvia.
