The commissioner for research and innovation, Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, has reiterated a rallying cry for researchers to actively support the Horizon 2020 proposal, at a healthcare conference in Cyprus.
Speaking at the INOVAHEALTH event in Larnaca, Geoghegan-Quinn said: “The budget negotiations will be tough, and I am concerned that research and innovation may be vulnerable… partly because scientists are not a well organised or vocal lobby.”
