Never mind
Life, a new “rapid” peer-reviewed journal that’s free to read and publish in, perhaps needs to slow down just a little. Biochemist Erik Andrulis’ Theory of the Origin, Evolution, and Nature of Life caused quite a stir after it appeared in Life last December. Andrulis has apparently discovered a “gyre” system, a spiralling natural system responsible for elevated CO2 levels, the creation of the moon and the evolution of cellular life. Seriously? Well, Andrulis’ university Case Western has already withdrawn the press release about the paper, and several of the journal’s editors have resigned.
