Lawyer becomes director of Spanish technology centre

Elisa Robles Fraga has been appointed director-general of the Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) in Madrid, Spain.

Robles leaves her post as director-general of economy, statistics and innovation at Madrid’s regional authority. Her appointment follows a change of government in December 2011, after the Spanish conservatives defeated the ruling socialist party.
