Member states suggest different funding models for Horizon 2020

Some member states have proposed a higher reimbursement rate for research funding in Horizon 2020, the follow-up for Framework 7, according to Neth-er, the Dutch research office in Brussels.

Neth-er reports that countries such as Belgium and Finland want to increase the flat rate for the reimbursement of indirect costs by up to 30 per cent. But others, including Denmark and France, prefer to maintain the 20-per-cent flat rate suggested by the European Commission in its proposal for the next EU science-funding programme.
