Swiss foundation revises research evaluation rules

The Swiss National Science Foundation has revised the criteria used to evaluate research projects funded by third-parties, making its rules more precise and clearer, the organisation says.

The revised criteria, announced on 8 February, now include good governance criteria alongside those scientific ones, the foundation said. It also sets out more clearly the requirements to be met for the provision of evaluation services and the running of joint programmes with the SNSF.
