Cern receives first artist in residence

German artist Julius von Bismarck has started a residency at Europe’s particle physics laboratory Cern in Geneva, Switzerland.

He was selected out of 400 to work with theoretical physicist James Wells over the next two months, before moving to the Ars Electronica centre in Linz, Austria for the second part of his residency.
