The Mediterranean Open Access Network (Medoanet) has launched a survey studying open access policies in six Mediterranean countries.
Data about policies and practices in France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey will be compiled in an online database, which could be later expanded to other countries. Medoanet will also draft guidelines for policy-makers to harmonise national policies that promote open access for research data and articles.
