France’s association of science journalists, the AJSPI, has published responses from four of the main candidates in the presidential elections to a series of questions about their research policies.
Main challenger François Hollande of the Socialist Party, centralist candidate François Bayrou, Green candidate Eva Joly and far-right candidate Marine Le Pen have all provided answers to the organisation’s questions. President Nicolas Sarkozy and communist candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon are yet to respond.
