Kroes proposes ICT jobs coalition

Digital agenda commissioner Neelie Kroes has proposed a “grand coalition” for ICT jobs.

Speaking at the event European Chief Information Officers of the year in Brussels on 19 April, Kroes said that Europe would lack 700,000 computing graduates by 2015. She suggested bringing together industry, governments, education and employment agencies to boost employment in this area.
