Neurobiologist receives Marie Heim-Vögtlin prize

Switzerland-based neurobiologist Claire Jacob is to receive the Marie Heim-Vögtlin prize.

The CHF-25,000 (about €20,000) prize is awarded yearly by the Swiss National Science Foundation to female researchers who have received a Marie-Heim Vögtlin grant. These grants fund the work of women scientists whose career was delayed or interrupted, for example to care for a child or because they had to change residence to follow their spouse.
