Researchers call for culture change in humanities publications

The Young Researchers’ Forum has called on publishers, funders and universities to support a more open approach to humanities publications.

The scholars want to encourage open access to boost public engagement with their work. In a manifesto called “Changing Publication Cultures in the Humanities”, they write: “We consider it important to promote open access, to democratise access to content, and to make visible our role as public intellectuals.”
