Admin costs for cohesion funds could be cut, says DG Regions

The European Commission estimates it could save up to 20 per cent of the costs of administering cohesion funds for the next funding commitment period from 2014 to 2020.

This is the main conclusion of a study carried out by DG Regional Policy and published on 26 July. The study estimates that administrative costs during the 2014-2020 commitment period would be 20 per cent lower than during the period 2007-2013.
