Danish botanist Lauritz Holm-Nielsen has been appointed as head of Euroscience, the grassroots organisation of European scientists across all scientific and technological disciplines.
He succeeded the Spanish geophysicist Enric Banda at the organisation’s general assembly held during the Euroscience Open Forum in Dublin last week.
