Canada and Israel have joined forces in a call for collaborative near-market R&D projects on water technologies, renewable energy and brain related research.
The call is jointly administered by the National Research Council of Canada and the Israeli Industry Center for R&D (Matimop) on behalf of the Office of the Chief Scientists at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. It represents the first Canadian initiative under Eureka, the EU-funded network for small business research, which was chaired by Israel until July 2011.
