The European Food Safety Authority invites proposals for two research calls, one on the identification, validation and collection of data on animal-based measures to create a database for quantitative assessment of the welfare of dairy cows, and one on echinococcus multilocularis infection in animals.
Proposals may request up to €600,000 for cow welfare studies and €200,000 for echinococcus actions. EFSA will fund up to 90 per cent of eligible costs.
