European dairy farmers continue research collaboration

Dairy levy bodies in six European countries have committed to collaborate on research, development and knowledge exchange under a European Cattle Innovation Partnership, according to the Irish magazine Farming Life.

The newly-formed collaboration will continue the work of a previous European Cattle knowledge transfer initiative, which finished at the end of June. Part of the aims to develop proposals to target addition European funds for collaborative research into tackling issues for the dairy industry, including climate change, food security and competition for land use, says Farming Life.
