Researcher refuses Légion d’honneur

A researcher has refused to accept the Légion d’honneur, France’s highest decoration, according to reports in the media.

Le Figaro reported that industrial health researcher Annie Thébaud-Mony turned down the prize awarded to her by housing minister Cécile Duflot in protest against indifference to health in the workplace and related “industrial crime”.
