Commission CSA demands Europe face evidence on GM food

Anne Glover, the European Commission’s chief scientific adviser, is calling on political leaders to reconsider policies against genetically modified (GM) food, the Scotsman newspaper has reported.

Glover reportedly commented that by being against growing GM crops, European countries are missing an opportunity to take advantage of their expertise in that area while Asia and North America get ahead.
