Huawei opens R&D centre in Ireland

Chinese telecommunications company Huawei has announced plans to open an R&D centre in Ireland, New Europe has reported.

The centre will have sites in Cork City and Dublin and will be employing 50 highly skilled workers, according to the article. It is to focus on developing a customer services product for the company called SmartCare.
