Dance Your PhD competition entrants learn more than new moves

The deadline for the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s ground-breaking, body-popping Dance Your PhD contest is fast approaching.

Open to international applicants, it recognises the best videos of PhD theses interpreted in dance form. The competition has four categories—physics, chemistry, biology and social sciences—with an award made in each. The overall winner also receives a cheque for $1,000 (€896). To enter, videos of the dance should be uploaded to YouTube and submitted to AAAS by 21 January.
