The seven deadly sins of consortium bids
As standard EU calls award funding to consortia, bids require input from multiple partners across countries and sectors. This is no small undertaking: for those putting together a consortium bid for the first time, it might even seem like an insurmountable obstacle.
But you should not be fearful, for others have trodden the daunting path to European funding success before and can pass on what they learned along the way. One of these people is Emmanuel Detsis from the European Science Foundation. With a background in astronomy and space science, Detsis has written proposals for calls in areas including space, social sciences, cybersecurity and migration.
