RPN Live: Advancing inclusivity in the face of resistance
In the past few years, there has been genuine progress on diversity, equity and inclusion in research, as attendees at the recent Research Professional News Live webinar on the topic heard.
But, they were also told, not enough DEI-promoting measures have been taken. And as Jakob Feldtfos Christensen, director of Diversiunity—a Denmark-based consultancy dedicated to making diversity work in research—said, researchers are still being put at risk by a failure to enact procedures giving consideration to the needs of minoritised people.
