INRA teams up with biotech firm on animal research

INRA, France’s national agricultural research institute, has signed a deal with biotechnology company Newvectys to collaborate on animal biotechnology projects.

They will work on projects aimed at developing knowledge to improve both animal and human health. NewVectys is to send researchers to INRA’s base in Tours, in the Loire Valley, and the two plan to host international seminars, particularly aimed at supporting translational research.
