3-D scanner inaugurated at Paris museum

A €876,000 3-D scanner was inaugurated at the Natural History Museum in Paris on 12 September. It will be used to study natural samples in three dimensions.

It is funded by the National Natural History Museum, the lle-de-France Regional Council, the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Simone and Cino del Duca Foundation.
