The French government has unveiled a plan to combat the sale of counterfeit medicines on the Internet.
It includes the creation of a central database for information on stolen, misappropriated or illegal products; establishment of mixed police and customs investigating teams; support for medicine distribution security initiatives, particularly in developing countries; and initiatives to raise customers’ awareness of risks.
