Evaluation agency reshapes priorities

AERES, France’s national research evaluation agency, has reshaped its priorities for 2010-14 in the wake of a European review of its work.

The agency has decided to work on the quality of its evaluations and to refine its methods. AERES representative Gilbert Knaub has been charged with leading the agency’s thinking on the ethics and deontology of evaluation.
