Nanotech centre opens on Saclay campus

Prime Minister François Fillon opened a nanotechnology institute on the Saclay science campus, south of Paris, on 20 February.

The site, still under development, is central to the government’s science investments. The centre, to be run by the Atomic Energy Centre (CEA), will focus on developing new nanotechnologies such as carbon nanotubes for electronics.
