R&D hit as Peugeot Citroen cuts thousands of jobs

Peugeot Citroen is to shed thousands of jobs as it seeks to reorganise its structure.

The car firm will close its plant in Aulnay, which employs 3,000 people, and cut jobs elsewhere. According to Libération, this will include 1,400 redundancies in R&D.
