France’s Aids research agency the ANRS and the US National Institutes of Health agreed to strengthen cooperation at the international Aids conference in Washington.
Announcing the partnership at the meeting on 26 July, French research minister Geneviève Fioraso said France is committed to maintaining its place in international Aids research. She added that France is still the only country in the world with a dedicated Aids research agency and that translational research has been particularly encouraged.
