French mathematicians among prize-winners

Two French mathematicians are among the winners of this year’s Henri Poincaré prize for mathematical physics.

Sylvia Serfaty, of the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, and Nalini Anantharaman, of the Orsay maths laboratory at Paris-Sud University, were recognised for their contributions to the field.
