A Bordeaux neuroscientist has been awarded the FondaMental foundation's Marcel Dassault prize for 2014, in recognition of his use of mobile technologies to study cognitive disorders.
Joël Swendsen leads a research team on neuroimaging and human cognition at the Aquitaine Institute for Cognitive and Integrative Neuroscience. His project Mobicog uses mobile technologies to collect patient data and enable personalised treatment of drug addiction.
The annual Marcel Dassault prize rewards researchers for their work on mental illnesses, providing a cash prize of €15,000.
