A total of 62 collaborative projects are to share €88.7 million as winners of the 19th round of research funding organised by the Fonds Unique Interministériel.
The FUI funds mid-to-late-stage regional projects that are expected to reach maturity within five years, in any discipline. The winners were selected from 137 applications, based on their innovativeness and potential economic impact.
The FUI will provide €47.6m, with the remainder coming from the European Regional Development Fund and French regional authorities.
