Paris-Saclay rail link is on track, official promises

A railway line connecting Paris-Saclay University to the Paris Orly Airport will open in 2027, a senior regional government official has said.

Michel Cadot, the prefect for the Île de France region, said in an interview with the newspaper Les Echos published on 7 January that an agreement between the relevant authorities was close to being signed.

The agreement would establish a timetable for work in which a line linking new stations on the Saclay campus to the existing Massy-Palaiseau rail station would open in 2026. Then, the following year, the line connecting Massy-Palaiseau to Paris Orly Airport would open.
