Government told to use multi-year spending plan to revitalise French research and innovation

Three reports commissioned by the government have called for a reinvigoration of research funding in France in order to position the country at the forefront of global competition.

The reports, published on 23 September, were written following a consultation with French researchers over plans to allocate some of the national R&D budget over several years rather than annually.
