Recipients of 2019 grants from the ANR, France’s national research agency, have been told to submit a data management plan as part of the agency’s open science drive.
Grantees will have six months from the start of their grant to submit data management plans in accordance with guidelines published by France’s Coso committee for open science, the ANR said in a statement on 5 September.
As ANR grants are awarded at the start of the academic year, this will give grantees until March 2020 to submit their plans. Grantees with projects of more than 30 months’ duration will also need to update their data management plan to provide a mid-term version and a final version at the end of the project, the ANR said.
