Macron sets up commission for early child development

France’s president sets up multidisciplinary commission to evaluate research on first 1,000 days of life

France’s president Emmanuel Macron has set up a 16-person multidisciplinary commission to evaluate research on the first 1,000 days of life.

Macron launched the commission, which is presided over by neuro-psychiatrist and author Boris Cyrulnik, at a press conference at the Elysée Palace on 19 September.
