Angers-Le Mans research campus begins work

Ongoing shake-up of French academia arrives in the Loire, with focus on patents

The University of Angers and Le Mans University started their highly anticipated “strategic partnership” on 1 January, by opening the Angers-Le Mans Experimental ComUE campus.

The campus replaces the now defunct Université Bretagne-Loire cluster. ComUE, short for Communautés d’Universités et Établissements, are groupings of universities and research institutions founded by law in 2013.
