39 research locations recognised for efforts to build public-private partnerships
France’s minister for higher education and research Frédérique Vidal has announced the creation of a group of so-called Carnot Institutes, a temporary recognition of their efforts to move scholarly research to practical applications.
A total of 27 of the institutes, which received the title last week, are renewals from the previous awards, while the remainder represent new memberships of the Carnot network. Two institutes have been given the title on a provisional basis.
