INRAE joins international project on emergent diseases

Partners draw on big data to monitor pathogens in European food chain

France’s National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRAE) has joined the MOnitoring Outbreak events for Disease surveillance project, which began work in January 2020.

INRAE is one of 25 research organisations that have come together in the MOOD programme, which aims to harness data mining and analytics techniques to improve detection, monitoring, and assessment of emerging diseases in Europe.
