Professor will oversee ‘spy school’ in association with military research body
The Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence, better known as Sciences Po Aix, is to create the country’s first course in intelligence gathering, with help from French military researchers.
The course will be overseen by general Serge Cholley and professor Walter Bruyere-Ostells, who heads up the Beliefs, History, Spaces, Political Regulation and Administration research centre at Science Po Aix. The position is a first in French higher education and will be supported by France’s official military research body, the Institute of Strategic Research of the Military School.
