Energy and science councils to work with industry figures in government’s priority area
France has committed to spending €7 billion to accelerate hydrogen development through the foundation of an industrial council that will support the field.
The council was announced jointly by four French ministers: environment minister Barbara Pompili, research minister Frédérique Vidal, economy minister Bruno Le Maire and industry minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher. Dubbed the National Hydrogen Council, the body will be overseen by the National Industry Council and work in association with French regional governments.
