Former University of Paris lands additional government funding to boost research programmes
One of France’s newest universities has been renamed and awarded Idex “initiative of excellence” accreditation, entitling it to extra funding from the government.
Paris City University, previously known as the University of Paris, was confirmed as France’s ninth Idex university by prime minister Jean Castex on 10 March. Idex accreditation entitles the university to an additional €22.9 million in annual funding.
