Research prioritised in France’s €680m neurodevelopment plan

        

Five-year strategy includes plans for two new research centres

The French government has unveiled plans to open a new centre of excellence in neurodevelopment research and a university hospital institute for paediatric neurology.

The plans are part of a €680 million, five-year strategy on neaurodevelopmental conditions including autism published on 14 November. The government’s previous strategy, which ran between 2018 and 2022, was initially allocated €344m, which later rose to €543m.
