Coalition for open science sets five priorities

French agencies and funders aim to build on gains made in 2022

A French coalition dedicated to open science has specified its five priorities for action in 2023.

The five French research agencies and funders in the coalition, including the ANR, France’s national research agency, said its goals were promoting immediate open access, supporting the diversity of open-access publishing models, deploying a common structured data management plan template, facilitating discussions on research assessment reform and continuing to promote the adoption of the Orcid identifier.
