Inrae strengthens ties with Australia and New Zealand

                                                          

French agricultural research organisation launches joint lab and exchange scheme—and signs deals for more

The French public research organisation for agriculture, Inrae, has signed a raft of cooperation agreements with universities and scientific bodies in Australia and New Zealand to strengthen existing collaborations, with a view to creating joint labs.

Inrae chief executive Philippe Mauguin travelled to the region to sign the agreements, which largely aim toward the creation of what Inrae calls international associated laboratories (LIAs), run in partnership with overseas partners.
