University of Angers now home to high-tech €6 million phenotyping lab

The University of Angers has opened a horticulture biotechnology greenhouse-laboratory following a €6 million investment from national, regional and local government. 

The Phenotic 2 lab will use robots to track the near entirety of observable characteristics of plants—their ‘phenotype’—and collate and store this data for use by researchers.
