In depth: A group of 19 French research agencies and companies has begun a project in ‘embedded’ artificial intelligence, as part of a national strategy to support European technological sovereignty. The DeepGreen project, led by the CEA, France’s public research organisation for energy, defence and technology, launched an open-source platform and said it aims to have its first technologies rolled out in 2024.
